Live Fish Shipping Policy
Whilst we do our best to ensure that the fish are available there may be times that we have not been able to update the website in time due to selling in store and these may need to be ordered in. Most fish are available to order each week and we place our fish order at the beginning of the week and they arrive Wednesday-Friday so will be shipped the following week. You can always contact us first to avoid disappointment.
Live fish are shipped overnight with NZ Post, in some cases rural deliveries may take an extra day. Our shipping days for live items are Mon - Wed to ensure they arrive safely to you and don't get stuck over the weekend. These days may change due to public holidays. If other items are included in your order then these will be shipped with the fish.
Shipping costs for fish are as follows:
South Island non-rural $39 and rural $44
The tracking details will automatically be sent to you using the email address you have provided and you will receive updates throughout the process, including upon delivery.
If your fish order arrive on the expected delivery date but arrive with any deaths, we require at least 3 clear photos/videos with the fish still inside the unopened bag within one hour of delivery. This can be done via email maximumpetsupplies@gmail.com or via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MaximumPetSupplies Please note that Tadpoles are not included in this policy and are shipped at your risk.
Any reimbursement will be in form of store credit which needs to be used within 12 months of receiving the credit. This does not include shipping charges as these are non-refundable.
Reimbursement is to the discretion of Maximum Pet Supplies.
